- Dirty Linen
Awfully hard to score, but well worth the hike, is this excellent compilation of singer-songwriters from ail over the world. Most, if not all, of the artists represented take their cues from Nick Drake, Fairport Convention, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen, so you know we're talking quality here. Scott Appel, one of the foremost interpreters of Drake, excels here with his offering of "Let All The Clocks Stop." Andy White of Ireland and Johan Asherton of France also shine with their compositions that embody folk traditions for the 21st century.
